Unitron e4 Moxi

Here at Blackminster Hearing Centre (near Stratford-on-Avon in the Midlands) we want to provide digital hearing aids at the lowest prices available anywhere in the UK. Our low prices allow you to purchase the best technology from us for a price which would only get you a "middle of the road" aid from many other dispensers.

Unitron has developed their completely new first-class set of hearing instruments, which they call "Moxi".

This unit is very unlike bulky traditional hearing aids. This new technology uses a tiny computer module nestling discreetly behind the ear and which connects through an essentially invisible wire to a tiny loudspeaker which "hides" in the ear canal.

This is called a LITETM system .... "Loudspeaker In The Ear".

This is very similar in style to the very popular "open fittings" ... but the tiny hearing aid loudspeaker is located inside the ear for optimum performance!

The "open fitting" models are usually limited to handling mild and/or high freqency hearing loss. The new LITE layout is much more effective - it allows a wide range of hearing losses to be catered for.

Here at Blackminster Hearing Centre we feel that the Unitron Element 4 Moxi model provides an amazing amount of performance for a very reasonable price.

The e4 Moxi offers the following rich set of features:

• The fixed forward directional microphone system suppresses background noise sources, while focusing on sounds from the front
• Up to 3 manually selected programs can be set up to match your specific requirements
• The noise reduction system analyses input and automatically reduces noise signals
• The AntiShock™ feature instantaneously reduces the level of sudden loud noises such as a door slamming, while maintaining the quality and intelligibility of speech
• The special "phase canceller" software continuously monitors for feedback whistle and promptly provides a blocking signal if needed
• A "wind noise manager" helps limit any "roar" in moderate or high wind conditions
• The 4 channels & 8 bands provide accurate frequency shaping to match your hearing loss
• There is a choice of 2 processing methods (WDRC and Linear Limiting) to help match your loss
• There is a low battery warning beep system
• The aid can be set up to start slowly to prevent whistling as you fit it
• The On/Off switch operates by opening or closing the battery door
• The aids uses a "312" size battery which gives a good life
• The "Easy-t" system can provide automatic switching to a dedicated telephone program
• Very unusually for such a small device, a loop/telecoil is fitted
• There is a choice of standard or high-power models
• There is a wide choice of attractive case colours to match your hair & complexion
