The Resound Pulse is a tiny & very discreet hearing device specifically designed for people with mild hearing loss, especially in the high frequencies.
If your hearing is mostly OK, but you have some difficulties following children's voices or female voices, especially in the presence of background noise, then the Resound Pulse could be for you!
The Resound Pulse is a fully automatic hearing aids - they have no volume control or push buttons. Each aid is fitted with a directional microphone which focusses forwards and cuts down noise from the sides.
The Resound Pulse comes from the original "classic" Resound Air which was an excellent digital hearing aid. It came in a tiny package and uses a standard size 10 small disposable hearing aid battery which lasted around 5 days of normal use.
The Resound Pulse is a more advanced model which adds features such as improved wind noise handling, more advanced computer processing ... and most importantly ... rechargeable batteries!
The Resound Pulse is
almost
invisible - as these images show.
If you have even a tiny wisp of hair behind the ear, the Resound Pulse can
simply blend in and become invisible!

The Resound Pulse comes in the original tiny size & shape of the "classic" Resound Air.
The Resound Pulse runs for about 12 hours between battery charges.
There is also a slightly larger size model (not shown here) which has a larger battery capacity and therefore a longer (20 hour) time in between recharges.
The Resound Pulse comes complete with a charger to allow one or two aids to be charged overnight.| This picture shows a Resound Pulse digital hearing aid being placed into its charger: | ![]() |
In most cases we can give you a hearing test and fit you with a Resound Pulse hearing aid in a single visit!
(This assumes that your hearing evaluation shows that you are suitable for a Resound Pulse "open fitting")

Note: If you need especially advanced noise-reduction features or multiple-programs then there are other highly-advanced (but rather more expensive!) Open Fitting style products we can recommend - please call for advice.
